European Mental Health Week

It’s European Mental Health Week! This year, it is organised from 9-13 May, with a theme „Speak Up for Mental Health“. The aim of this pan-European initiative is to raise awareness of the importance of mental health in our everyday lives and is run by the NGO Mental Health Europe (MHE).

This year’s initiative is trying to shine the spotlight on youth mental health. Young people are a particularly vulnerable group, whose mental health problems have doubled in the last two years due to the pandemic and crisis.

The European Commission supports efforts to improve the mental health of the Union, and emphasises the role that its actions and projects have.

The European Commission has compiled a selection of such actions and projects, and one of them is ImpleMENTAL JA.
