JA ImpleMENTAL presented at a mental health workshop in Bologna

On January 30th, a workshop took place in Bologna, Italy, organized by the network of Directors of regional Mental Health Departments, in cooperation with the Italian Psychiatric Association (affiliated with WPA).

The focus of the event was on “Quantity and Quality in Mental Health”, addressing the importance of using data for planning, monitoring, and evaluating the quality of care in mental health services in Italy.

Within the framework of this workshop, Teresa Di Fiandra and Antonio Lora (the Italian coordination team) were invited to present the approach of the Joint Action ImpleMENTAL, its general aims and structure, and offer a few general reflections on some initial results of this experience. A special focus was placed on the activities of WP5 (Implementation of the Belgian reform), particularly on the issue of data collection and the construction of a dashboard of indicators (task 5.4), which closely aligns with the topics of the workshop.
